The spa town of Bad Kreuznach lies directly on the Nahe river surrounded by vineyards. Numerous hiking and cycling trails enable you to explore the Naheland region from here.  Take in the sights of Bad Kreuznach, the surrounding regions of the Palatinate, Hunsrück hills, and Rhine Valley and enjoy the aromatic Nahe wine in the wine cellars of the wineries.

Places to see

The famous bridge houses are the landmark of the city of Bad Kreuznach and are just as much a part of the sights as the historical old town and the huge graduation towers (literally walls of blackthorn brushwood with brine trickling through) in Salinental valley.

In the district of Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg, the castle village of Ebernburg is worth a visit, as is the quietly situated spa park with its historical Kurhaus assembly rooms.

Health & Wellness

Besides Bad Kreuznach boasting Europe’s largest open-air inhalatorium and Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg being a recognised health resort, our beautiful town has so much more to offer for your health and wellness holiday.

Active holiday in nature

In addition to numerous hiking and cycling trails, Bad Kreuznach also has several parks where visitors can relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.  As Bad Kreuznach lies between the Hunsrück hills and the Palatinate and is surrounded by the vineyards of the Naheland, you will find a diverse flora and fauna here.

Culture, entertainment, and shopping

After a stroll through the city centre, there are numerous restaurants and bars where you can enjoy something to eat or drink.  Whether you prefer Greek, Italian or Chinese food, Bad Kreuznach has the right restaurant for everyone.

And if you prefer to explore the cultural side of the town, the Römerhalle museum, the Museum for Puppetry Arts or the Schlosspark museum are well worth a visit.

Naheland region

With the North Palatine hills to the south and the Hunsrück hills to the north, the Naheland region is an idyllic home to an abundance of vineyards. Here, the Nahe river meanders through the landscape from its source near Lake Constance to its mouth in the Rhine near Bingen.

The Naheland region is a paradise for cyclists and hikers.
